Denver beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 in overtime on Thursday night.
Seattle is the defending Super Bowl champion.
Denver still won it with Bo Nix throwing for just 107 yards, per CBS Sports, the kind of stat line that gets a backup benched on a bad team.
Didn’t matter.
The Broncos sacked Seattle five times, forced three turnovers, and walked away two games above .500, sitting right in the middle of the AFC West race.
That’s the division the Raiders are chasing from behind now, after a 3-0 start that evaporated into back-to-back losses — the second a 45-17 no-show against the Patriots where Ashton Jeanty was held to a season-low 27 yards.
Seven days ago this site said the Raiders should be “licking their chops” with New England down both starting corners.
Instead, they got run over by 28 points.
Ed McCaffrey saw the pile-on against Nix after the OT win and decided somebody had to say something.
Stop, just stop. Enough already.
Apparently winning isn’t enough anymore.
Bo Nix and the @Broncos weren’t perfect but they still won the game.
Winning in the NFL is hard. Enjoy it.#BroncosCountry

Not wrong, either. Winning in the NFL is hard, and three weeks ago the Raiders couldn’t manage it against a Patriots team playing backups at corner.
Now they’re 3-2, Jeanty’s banged up and still refusing a week off with the bye seven games away. The “worst division in football” has a team riding defense and special teams to relevance while Vegas can’t run the ball against anybody.
Enjoy the standings while they last, Raiders fans.
Nobody in this division is bullying anybody.
They’re just losing less.
