According to a friend and reliable source on RaiderSpot Darren McFadden will be sporting a jersey number of 20 as an Oakland Raider. I had expected that he would take the number 32, as it had a connection to his college number of 5. Number 32 is exalted in the Raider Nation from having been worn by Hall of Fame member Marcus Allen and touchdown machine Zack Crockett, not to mention the legendary Jack Tatum.

Ok I give up... How does number 32 have a college connection of number 5?

I'll just wait and see when I get my jersey like with Russell

I hope he plays like the Detroit #20 did but hope we're not losers like the Lions

I think he should be #1......

Less air friction and slightly less weight, so he'll run even faster!! I also think he should wear Michael Johnson inspired Gold shoes, cause not only will they make him faster, but he will look crazy too!

In reality, I could care less! I just want the guy on the friggin field when training camp rolls around, and thus, to start the season in the best possible position to succeed.

#23 would be a great number for D-Mac.

2+3= 5, since some of you mentioned that college number connection.

Oh by the way, the Raiders would look great playing in that new stadium in LA.

Hope he can fly like another #23 from chicago and give KC tongue action while jumping over the goal line and clutching his groin. I hate LA by the way. Oaktown forever baby. Al Davis will never give up the RAIDERS to another owner and that loozer of a city. They had 2 franchises and lost both. Booooooooo! heh maybe he can wear #235 or325j/k
