The Oakland Raiders press conference drinking game

Its the offseason. That time of year where not much is happening in football. Well, teams are cutting their dead weight and other teams are salivating over the sloppy seconds, but here in the Raider nation we need something to pass the time. I propose the Raider Press Conference drinking game. Those of us in the Raider Nation need an excuse to keep in drinking shape for the tailgates this fall, and the Raider Press Confrence drinking game is the perfect way to do just that. Every time Al Davis, Lane Kiffin or Rob Ryan give a press conference have a bottle of your favorite liquor handy, because it will be time to drink

The Rules:

For a Lane Kiffin press conference: Every time Lane Kiffin says the word "excited" take a single shot. Every time he says "Thats news to me" take a double shot. By the end of the press conference you should have a nice buzz going.

For an Al Davis press conference: This is going to be a rare rule, because Al does not give many press conferences, which is too bad as this game presents an opportunity to get your drink on every time he starts talking. Every time Al says "The Greatness of the Raidus" Take a single shot. Every time Al talks about past glories, take a double shot. The kicker in this game is every time Al gets someone's name wrong, you get a quad shot. So once he mentions "Bernard" Petrino or "Lance" Kiffin you are going to be flying high.

Rob Ryan doesn't get to talk to the press much, which is really a shame. But every time he does have your bottle ready and take a fat shot every time he swears.

Well ladies and gentlemen, that is how we can keep in our dirnking form to be ready for the 2008 tailgates.

Rule #1: Every time ESPN says something negative about the Raiders......Drink One!

Rule #2: Every time Nancy Gay makes up a story about the Raiders.....Drink One then dig a hole in the back yard.

Rule #3: If Al picks a DB in round 1....drink ten......then shoot yourself at the top of the hole in the back yard!!

Fabulous - I'm in.

We have a similar game here in Chiefs Country. Whenever Carl Peterson says the words "We are not at liberty to discuss that at this time.", drink one. You'll be hammered in 5 minutes.

Whenever Herm Edwards starts doing his Coach Boone impersonation from "Rememeber the Titans", drink one -

Whenever Gunther Cunningham drops an f-bomb (and he could use three describing a newborn puppy), drink one.

Whenever a Raiders fan is arrested for beating his wife/cooking meth/assault and battery, drink one -

(I couldn't resist).

New drinking game! Everytime you read and article from the darkside that says..............

Unnamed sources said....drink one

Rumors from the raiders camp...drink one

Lane kiffin was observed picking up his news paper on the front porch while wearing PJ's in the Bronco's colors....this means he is not coming back to oakland.......drink one
