Preseason Week 2: Live Blog: Failed 4th Down conversion Raiders 20 Rams 10

The Raiders went for it on 4th and 10 deep in Rams territory. Walter was sacked on the first play, and camp sensation Adimchinobe Echemandu dropped a short pass on fourth down. Carr's monster return did not lead to any points.

I am assuming that Kiffin went for it just to see how the team would respond, and get a chance to practice a game situation, and would not have done that in a real game.

Go for it like New England going for it and the entire team responds the rest of the game to the challenge. Mental approach and I'm glad to see Coach Kif has winner tendencies!
